Day 1. Kinda.

Not really day 1, today is actually day 6, but today is when I decided to start blogging about it.

So hello, my name is Caitlin. I am 27 years old and a mom of 5. I am also obese, and am doing something about changing that this year...finally. I am not sure what else to put in this post, so I am just going to put my starting weight, my current weight, and my goal weight, a little description of how I am doing it.  My next post should also have measurements, and before/after photos. Just waiting for tape measure to come in the mail, and I don't have a full length mirror so have to have hubby take the pictures for me.

Starting weight: 245.4
Current weight: 234.4
Goal weight: 140ish? unsure

So, I am using a method called intermittent fasting. Pretty much what this does is you go into a fasting mode every day. There are different set ups, and I am doing the "least extreme" to start out with which is 16:8. What this means is for 16 hours a day I consume NOTHING except water. Black coffee and plain tea are also allowed, however I do not like either of these.

During the other 8 hours I calorie count as usual, and allow myself my diet sodas that I'm addicted too. So, there you have it! Hopefully I continue to shrink, and become a healthier, happier version of myself <3
